RE: Branson?

We stayed at Acorn Acres which is just around the corner from Silver Dollar City and loved it. It's a bit off the road which makes it quiet. Lots of trees. They have pull through sites and back in.
We've stayed at ABC a couple of times. Nice campground but sites are close together.
I've also stayed at Branson Lakeside campground and liked it also. It's right on the water plus withing walking distance of the new Branson Landing which is a shopping area. Close to the Branson Scenic Railway depot. Lots of pull through sites but they are close together also.

RE: JT Stongarms question

I used to tighten mine each time but don't anymore and haven't lost one yet. I haven't traveld over 200 miles in a day either so keep that in mind.

RE: dehumidifier in 5th wheel?

I have a small one I put in ours when we don't have the ac on and it's in storage. It is about as loud as the air conditioner.

RE: Fifth Wheel Stablizers

I bought and installed the Jt's and love em. Easy to install and hold the 5'er rock solid. Nothing to store once installed.

RE: The old folding web chairs

I've been wanting some of the chairs because they're so lightweight. Anyone know where I can get a couple? Thanks.
I was at a hardware/lumberyard the other day and they had them. Almost bought a couple myself.

RE: Branson RV Parks

I'm heading to Acorn Acres and Americas Best Campground within the next few weeks. I'll report what I think when I get done. Other than that I can't give any suggestions.

RE: Digital cameras causing you to dump 35mm equipment?

You can't get a digital body that would accept your 35mm lenses?

RE: Lookin for a family friendly place to go near Branson, MO

As for campgrounds I would search Trailer life directory and choose from what you read would suit you.
We have reservations at America's Best Campground. Never been other than to drive by and look. We live about 70 mile from Branson but I work down there all the time it seems.
Things to do, Silver Dollar City, Butterfly Palace, Ripley's, lots and lots of go carts and the like.
Can't really think of anything not to do.

RE: EUREKA!!! LEVELING IDEA!!!!!

You could just load the compressor in your truck or fiver and when you get there and need to raise one side a couple of inches just let the air out of your tires on the other side to level out. When you are ready to leave just air your tires back up to normal inflation pressure.:B

RE: Branson Mo. food

There was never a Lamberts in Branson but the Fall Creek Steakhouse throws or should I say tosses the rolls.

RE: Stabilizing FW - How do you do it?

I've got the wheel chocks that go between the tires and the JT stabilizer system and it's great. I'm over 350 lbs and it's hard for me to make the 5'er move.

RE: Do you use an inverter to run your laptop while travelling?

I've got one of the small ones that plugs into a power point. Similar to this one. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7754366 Works just fine.

RE: Branson Mo. food

We always go to the Rib Crib,Mazzios Pizza,McFarlains. A great fish place was Fall Creek Steak & Fish House till it burned down. They rebuilt & just opened but I haven't been back down there since it reopened.
Wow, word spreads fast. Fall Creek Steakhouse has only been open a little over a month and you've heard about it up in Nebraska. I'm planning on eating there in the near future. I actually did alot of the woodwork in the restaurant.
I love the Rails Buffet. I live about 70 miles from Branson and go down at least once a month just to eat there.
Shorty Smalls is another great place.
